Labor Day Love

This past weekend we had the most lovely time doing lots of nothing:)  Friends, outdoor time, naps, hikes, and just enjoying being home. It was our first weekend in weeks home, with nothing much on the agenda--what a treat!  We have fully adjusted to school year mode, and I must say, so far so good.  AlteLu is enjoying her class--this week she is the Shabbat Ima.  When I put her to bed, she likes for me to lie on her--and then she tells me, "Ima, you make me feel so cozy, I love you so much," and then my heart melts.  Hersh is a deep thinker who is feeling good about himself.  He is adjusting to the "norms"of 1st grade, while feeling confidant in his friendships, reading abilities, and Hebrew speaking. He also enjoyed rock climbing on Sugarloaf Mt, and has asked us to create a job chart.
