Beaches, Rosh HaShannah, & 6 months!

Lots has happened over the past few weeks---we've hit up the beach a few times, squeezing in a few final beach days, both on the Chesapeake and on the Jersey Shore.  We welcomed in 5779, and celebrated Sender's first Rosh HaShannah.  Sender also turned 6 months old!  AlteLu started ballet, Hersh is back to piano and is running cross country.  We are trying to keep up with our lives, and get the kids to bed on time, which is always a struggle. AlteLu's questions are becoming increasingly complex, and Hersh made having Arkansas be his state in 3rd grade.  Sender is sitting up and loves to eat.

K & 3rd grade

Yesterday was a big day in the Lewis household--Hershel Bershel Bear started 3rd grade, and LoolyLu started K!  Both kids are appropriately, pleased, skeptical, excited, and engaged, all at once.  They are privileged to attend an amazing school, with wonderful teachers and sweet friends.  Three afternoons a week they will take the bus home, with the bus stop just a walk a way, which is nice.

Savta has been visiting with us, and will go home today.  We will miss her terribly, and cant wait until she is with us again.

Now we will turn our attention to the New Year, and falling into our daily rhythm.
