The end of the school year is quickly approaching. Sender concludes this Friday--so heartbreaking. Big kids keep going for two more weeks, but lots of transitions are happening---the end of one swim, and onto the next, Ultimate Frisbee, soon dance, and then the bar mitzvah. We also had the pleasure of a quick trip to Little Rock to celebrate Savta's 75th--it was so nice to be there--in one of our happiest places!
Each week passes so quickly! Our days and weekends are packed--full of friends, sports, dance, bike rides (school and work too), and summer/bar mitzvah prep. Sender is almost done at the Gan (!) and the big kids continued to be pulled closer and closer towards adolescence. We are looking towards our family "birthright" trip and I feel compelled to start packing for camp. Last week when I went in to give Sender a late night kiss, he called me back over, and whispered "mother's day is coming." What a sweetie!
It's May! The end of the school year looms, and bar mitzvah time is almost upon us! Hersh turned 13! I now have a teenager--a delightful one at that! He is tall and lovely. My three leprechauns together are a gift. Oh, and we went to a ridiculous monster truck rally to celebrate Aplebaum Birthday Month!
