The Rock

Earlier this week we hopped on a plane and flew to one of our very favorite places, filled with our favorite people--Little Rock.  Coming to visit Sabba, Savta, and Bamombelle, has been long anticipated, and we couldn't be happier to be here.  We haven't done much of consequence while here, but Hersh and Alte love being in this house, with these people.  Hersh feels so comfortable here, and AlteLu can't quite get over the fact that Sabba and Savta are right here at her fingertips!

We had a lovely visit with the Matson side of the family.  Lots of good chit chat and both kids enjoyed being with their cousins.  We've watched a few movies, including the classic "Welcome to Pooh Corner," which was particularly interesting to Hersh because he has also been reading the book.  Both kids have enjoyed coloring with Bamom, and yesterday we went for cheese dip, which AlteLu loved!  Alte also seemed to be very excited about the airplane, although didnt quite grasp that we were up in the air.  She did give me the easiest plane nap of my parenting career.  And Hersh has done quite well with lots of people asking him about Santa and Christmas.  He simply states, "We don't celebrate Christmas," and moves on with his day.
