The end.

We have reached the end.  Today is our final day in Vienna.  We fly back to the States tomorrow morning.  It is surreal that today is here, as it seemed that today, the final day, was always weeks away.  The past few days have been consumed with saying good bye to different friends, trips to our favorite places, packing, and having different items picked up from our apartment by people who have purchased our belongings.  This afternoon the international movers and our landlord will come by.

There is so much that could be said, but at the same time, there are really no words.  We are done here and it has been a beautiful, once in a lifetime experience.  We are eternally grateful that we have had this year together here in Vienna.  We can only hope that whatever the next chapter of our life brings will allow us to continue down a path of truth and happiness.

  1. It's been great reading your blog this year, Darci and Jacob. Sad that your time there is ending, but we are ecstatic to have you back...especially on the east coast!

  4. Let's take a moment to appreciate Hersh's bold strokes of color on his paintings. It shows confidence, and no fear of the unknown. It's a bold new look for the 21st Century, ladies and gentlemen.
