Happy Krapfen Day!

This week was Mardi Gras or as they call it here in Vienna, Fasching.  It is traditional to eat krapfen or jelly donuts as part of the Fasching celebration, so this is exactly what Jacob did!

We had a good week filled with sunshine, friends, and preparation for our trip to Italy!  We leave on Friday and will spend a week in the town of Trieste, which is in Northern Italy on the Adriatic Sea.  Jacob will be attending a conference and Hersh and I will explore Trieste, the beach, and what ever else comes our way!

In Hersh news, he started signing and clapping this week.  His first sign is for the word "more" or "od" as we are using Hebrew when signing.  Hersh also enthusiastically claps his hands and says yeah!!! whenever we do the same!  It's pretty cute!

Look closely, there are some pretty serious pillow creases on this kid's face.
