On January 1st, 2026, we celebrated the bat miztvah of our dear, sweet AlteLu. It was a day filled with love, kavana, and nature. All of our closest family and friends joined us in Bethany Beach, where we created our own "synagogue." AlteLu davened and leyned, Hersh was the gabbai, Sender did ashrei, and Jacob the perfect teacher and guide. AlteLu's d'var torah about Parshat V'yachi was thoughtful and insightful, Savta presented a beautiful tallis purchased years ago by Sabba, and we all shared words about our most special lady. Oh, and the party (less the very strange DJ) was epic! Dancing, joy, friends, family, food, love and laughter. Sweatshirts, pesto pasta, caesar salad, french fries and shirley temples. I think we had allll the things--every detail cam together! But the most important part--AlteLu felt honored loved and celebrated. We are so so lucky that she is ours. We are so so lucky for our two sons. And their are no words for the gratitude we feel for our life long friends who always show up, our family who loves and celebrates with us endlessly, and the abundance that is our life xoxo Mazel Tov, ALL!
