Finishing up 2018

2018 was quite a year.  So much joy, and so much grief and sadness.  In some ways, 2018 was the most intense year of my life.  But here I am, we are, having made it through, and doing quite alright.  We have this incredible baby who is so delicious, I really dont even know how to capture it in words.  He turned 9 months old, is crawling, gives the cheesiest smiles in town, and is just so cute, smart, and lovely.  Jacob and I are trying to relish in every moment of Baby Sender, because soon enough the baby part will be all done.  Hersh is growing up to.  Figuring things out for himself.  Im working on how to be comfortable with his different ranges of emotion and keep him engaged.  And Lu--that beautiful girl knows so many facts!  She loves to color and draw, can read (when willing), and is a strong, silly, sensitive sweetheart.

We celebrated our favorite man's 38th birthday with a winter trip to OBX--just the best friend, husband, and Abba we could ask for.  Oh, and Sender tried a Duck Donut.  The beach and sun were glorious, and I am reminded to stay focused on gratitude.

Here's to a 2019 filled with joy, inspiration, health, friends, family, and a little bit of hard work that goes a long way!
