DelFest/12 years

This weekend we ventured to beautiful Cumberland, MD and attended DelFest--an awesome music festival.  The surroundings were beautiful and everyone had a great time:)  Today is our 12 year wedding anniversary.  So grateful for such an amazing husband, and two of the most delicious children on earth.  As, AlteLu declared today, "It's summertime now," and for this moment which we have waited many months for, we couldn't be happier.  I love my family.  I love 3 day weekends!

PS--we also attended Hersh's Bayit Patuach where we learned all about his work at school, and watched him portray Pharoah, in Hebrew:)

A visit with Zeyde:)

This weekend Zeyde came from Chicago for a visit.  It was wonderful to have him with us.  Lots of books were read, and he taught Hersh how to play Battleship.  We took walks, enjoyed Shabbat, did some shopping, and just enjoyed being together.  Cant wait for our next Zeyde vsit:)  We also took a chilly but lovely hike in Rock Creek Park to round out the weekend.  Lots of natures little treasures were enjoyed, and both kids took a turn behind the camera.

Party Time!

This past weekend we had Hersh's 6th birthday party--it was a grand time!  Lego focused, with more Legos than a boy could dream of, and a Lego mini figure cake were a part of the celebration.  The sun was shining and friends and family gathered to celebrate our sweet HBB.  AlteLu enjoyed herself some party as well;)  We also celebrate Hersh's birthday at school and AlteLu enjoy her (third) first official truck day.
