For some reason over the past few days, Hersh has decided that there are acorns everywhere! I know that it is because of a book we are reading about a busy squirrel, but still, the presence of acorns on our noses, in our hair, in the crib, etc. is getting a bit extreme. Hersh has also been loving a book called "Music Over Manhattan." This is a book that Rich and Emily gave to Jacob when he was in college. Hersh talks about the characters--Bernie and Uncle Louie--says, "Absolutely!" the way they do in the book, and wanted to make mash potatoes, just like Bernie. Abba was happy to oblige.
This past weekend we made another trip out to North Beach. Although it is not the most amazing beach in the world, it does the job for all of us. We are beginning to look towards the summer and cannot wait for all of the fun places and people that await us!
