We've just returned from a wonderful Thanksgiving week in the Rock. Jacob and I harnessed our power and hosted hosted hosted. The giant airbnb (which was very difficult to find in the dark and only half way finished) served the extended family quite well, and even came with our own giant dog, whom we lovingly named, Chizkuni. We hiked Pinnacle, completed the Turkey Trot, loved the Tree Farm, saw Wicked, walked over the BDB, had Sonic, drove around a parking lot, and just enjoyed lots of time together. Arkansas is what "going home" feels like for us, and we are so grateful to always return. When we drove by 7316 Sender commented he wished things didnt have to change...and the big kids surely feel very sad as well....as do Jacob and I. Alas, we will always head to the south to be together. Rich and Bamom would be pleased xoxo

In and Out!
Lots of bopping in and out, all about the town these past couple of weeks for us all! Sender had a great day at King's Dominion, I had the gift of time w Meg and Katie B in VT/NY--love these ladies so much! Hersh at BSD tryouts tomorrow and earned straight A's MP1. Lu is consumed with Nutcracker, bat mitzvah prep, and acclimating to the demands of MS--lots of tests! Looking ahead to Thanksgiving and beyond--cant believe the year is coming to an end so quickly!

Halloween!
Phew! We made it through and enjoyed another Halloween. Between the three kids there were 5 plans, and everyone had a good time. A treat for me was time with all three of them, each in a different way. TkPk with Sender and Hersh as my escort, popping in on Lu and her friends. We are very lucky! We also had the Aplebaum bonfire, and many birthday parties. Big kids are locked in on school work and bat mitzvah prep, we've got piano lessons, and all the BM to-do's! Dress shoe shopping with Hersh, and hopeful sparkly sneakers for Lu.
