Pesach & Almost 12!

 Back to life, back to reality--that is the theme song for today!  The past week and a half was filled with love, Pesach, family, and beach.  We were fortunate to host both Sederim this year--filled with friends and family.  Sender did the Ma Nishtana and our home was full of love and joy.  Then we headed to Clearwater Beach for an early Lewis Family Vacation.  It was so so lovely  to be together--just 120 steps from the beach.  So many delicious cousins, so much love.  Each individual relationship is so special--I am filled with love for each and every member of the Lewis-Kelin-Wolf Family.  

Next up, we have lots of birthdays--Lowell, HBB, and Lewes.  I cannot believe that Hershel Bershel Bear will be 12.  At 5' 3 1/4" he is growing growing growing.  He is kind, smart, mature, fun, creative, hungry, and appropriately pre-teen like.  Everyday I am in awe of our three children and the true honor it is to parent them.  AlteLu continues to come into her own as well--she is my special lady.  The coming days are bound to be a whirlwind--hold on tight!

Almost Pesach!

 It's almost Pesach and boy are we ready for a break!  Spring is in the air and everyone is ready for a break in routine.  At the same time, there is a bit of anxiety as the stability of work and school begin to shift as summer quickly approaches.  We will host Sederim, voyage to the beach, and hopefully slow down, before speeding back up.  My birthday was wonderful---full of contentment and gratitude, with a wonderful party to boot.  Feeling tired and slightly overwhelmed by what is to come in the next few days.  Also grateful and excited!

Almost 42

 Now I'm almost 42 and cannot believe it...how am I this old?  At the same time, I am very, very aware that I will just continue to get older and youth is now gone.  For so so long I was young, and now I am not.  In the past two weeks Ive taken my boys to the doctor for well visits.  Hersh is 5'3"--he grew 4 inches this year!  How? And Sender --oh boy--he's 4, and flexing all of those 4 year old muscles. And Lu--she's a lady with ideas.  Last night I took her Harry Potter quiz--I didnt do very well!  With my birthday will come a party, emotions, and lots of love.  I'll keep getting older, surprised when I see myself in the mirror, or pictures of a younger me.
