15!

It's hard to believe that our HBB is 15!  What a blessing to be his parents, to have him as our first-born, to be be raising, supporting and nurturing him.  We had a lovely bday bonfire for him with friends, let him sleep until 1pm, had an Aplebaum bday outing the Nats Game, late night pizza (almost in an old age home), family birthday brunch, a special hike that was just me, Jacob, and Hersh, boba tea, and family dinner at a delicious but very poorly run restaurant.  Our family is the sweetest blessing, and I dont even mind driving him to 430am swim practice.  Sender is living the best 3rd kid life--late nights, dinner parties, birthday parties, soccer, piano, friends, and dessert every night.  He is so aware of his happy life--he told me "Ima, my life is full of everything good, and I dont mean presents."  Lu is working hard--getting good grades, being my biggest helper, and working towards her ballet goals.  Springtime will next slowly turn to summer---AP exams, end of year celebrations and performances, camp prep, oh my!

Pesach & Singer Island!

We are just finishing a beautiful Pesach/Spring Break.  We started with hosting Seder 1 and then attending Seder 2 with Andrea, Nahid, and Beth.  We love hosting Seder--it's such a joy and honor to create these moments where our family and loved ones gather to rejoice in the beauty of Judaism.  Although it is a lot of work, we would do it 10 times over and I cannot wait until next year, when the beauty is recreated and moadim l'simcha.  Sender sang a beautiful 4 questions and Had Gadya.  The big kids were kind and helpful, loving and joyful.  Then off to Florida--Singer Island/ Riviera Beach.  We slept, ate, snorkeled, had smoothies and Sonic, swam, saw the sunrise, watched TV, went to the Outlet Mall (!), hiked, looked for alligators, lounged on the beach, climbed the treehouse and just enjoyed the magic that is the 5 of us. Sender is currently idolizing Hersh--needing the same sunglasses.  And AlteLu took us into Sephora...where Hersh got his "scent profile" done! So grateful for our amazing little family, the love of siblings, and the best partner.
