Mountain Magic

 We just returned from our 3rd Annual Lewis/Small Winter Family Ski Trip to beautiful Winter Park.  We are so grateful to venture to Fraser each year and bask in the glory of the Rockies.  The kids all saw moose, had awesome ski lessons, and enjoyed the beauty, love, and companionship.  The grown-ups had a great time too:)  Murdoch's did not disappoint, nor did Hernando's.  We drove through blizzards each day, met up at the Waffle Cabin and the Moffat Market.  There was lots of reading, chatting, drawing, and shelpping.  Love this family of ours, and grateful for phriends that are family!

NOLA & life...

 Two weekends ago we travelled to NOLA for the bar mitzvah of Mo Eckstein---a lovely gathering of or HSJ/Little Rock family.  We travelled to NOLA 2 days after they received more snow then they had since 1863!  It was a wild adventure.  Lu stayed home w Nava and had a good time celebrating her sweet friend.  We then had a very busy week followed by a lovely home weekend that ended with a winter day in nature---White Tail and hiking.  Oh, and last week we took Sender to the Library of Congress for a book talk from the author of Dogman--Dav Pilky--what a funny event!
