While walking slowly home from the park the other day, Sender told me, "Ima, I see a discovery." It was a rock in our creek covered in moss that made it look like an ant hill. This moment of pure childhood inquisitiveness was so lovely, and one to be cherished. Moments before he had looked for treasures in the secret tree stump at the park. Sender finished a great bball season, Hersh tried out water polo, and AlteLu is gearing up for her big Israeli Dance performance. While in the car the other day, Sender told me he "loves having a brother and a sister--a big family," and this made my heart melt. Sometimes the logistics of it all can be daunting, but I'm sure one day, when things are quieter, I will long for these sweet and magical moments.

Chug Chug Chug
As we whoosh through time, we find ourselves in February. Chug chug chug through the days--driving, activities, friends, and looming transitions. The kids are doing well. We've been goin got dinner on Thursday evenings as we are beat from the week, and the boys both have late activities. When at the restaurant, Hersh had the loveliest mature exchange about swimming with the waitress, AlteLu cracked a joked, stating there is no way she is going to Rockville!, and Sender used the work ornament instead of ottoman. Needless to say, they each have me wrapped around their finger. Now if only we could cook fewer dinners and have less laundry to put away:)
