16 months!
Today Mr. Sweetie Baby is 16 months old. He is really into vehicles, but calls everything a bus. He makes lots of animal and vehicle noises. He loves to read, loves his owl, marble runs, balls, the pool, and dancing. He is a delightful 3rd child-a true gift to us all!

Why are people so surprised that it's hot outside?
Well July in MD, like usual you are hot and humid. But for some reasons, general society seems surprised by this, and IMO it's not surprising--it's summer!
AlteLu spent that past two weeks in camp--Art Camp and Tink Camp--both of which were a hit! We wrapped up swimteam, and had Adam and Fife for a visit, which was lovely. Last night we went to Shabbat dinner at a friend's house, and they have very sweet dog. Sender both loved the dog and was simultaneously freaked out by him---kind of like having a lion in your face.
We've received letters from Hersh, and spotted glimpses of him in pictures. I think he is happy and having fun. He also looks exhausted. Really miss him, but I think this is the hard part of parenting. Hopefully he is happy and cant wait to hug him!

LR>Jackson>Utica>Home
After 9 days down south, we are back home. The trip began with a week in Little Rock---Lewis Family Vacation, if you will. Lots of pool time, togetherness, and ice cream. It was stress free for the 5 of us, and gave us lots of uninterrupted time with those we love most. We had Rich's unveiling and missed him at every turn. We also visited Bamom's grave. Both were important for all of us.
The kids had a great 4th of July at Lakeside, hosted by Aunt LeeAnn and Uncle Russ--fishing, boat rides, egg toss, and lots of lemonade.
We then made the trek to Jackson/Utica,where we dropped Hersh at HSJ for the month. I am happy for him, but so sad for me. I hope he has a great time, and cant wait to hug him again soon.
We then flew home, which was a mess do to weather. Mr. Sweetie Baby, who had the best time in LR with the fam (hugging everyone's legs) was not happy during travel day. He is cockadoodledoing, and still loves owls. Anywhere we go with music, he dances, and bamba is a favorite snack.
