Norway and Italy!

We've just returned from the trip of a lifetime--Norway and Italy.  First the kids and I visited Kate in Norway--a soft landing that included lots if sleeping, a boat ride in the fjord, a visit to the Natl Library, and lots of beautiful walking.  We then met Jacob in Pisa (to see the Tilting Pisa, as Sender calls it).  We then visited Florence, Rome, and San Felice Circeo.  Each place filled with history, art, beauty, adventure, pizza, pasta, walking, and lots of gelato.  AlteLu stuck to the script of no flavor twice, and Sender surprised us with choosing the fruit flavors over the chocolate!  I do not think we had a favorite from the trip--just the feeling of family, adventure, resilience, and awe.  The kids are so amazing.  They are so sweet together, so curious in their own individual way, so helpful, strong and delightful.  Jacob planned an incredible adventure--one honoring Hersh's 8th grade graduation and our 20 year wedding anniversary.  So grateful--he is in the best tour guide, even going back through security to check Sender's sword:)  And a special shout out to trains, Italian food, buffalo mozz, carry on luggage, ancient history, losing Sender (briefly) in the Vatican, alll the crowded tourist spots, timed entries, chocolate croissants, foccacia, aperol spritz, and hearing the President of Tuscany speak!
