Hard to believe, but we only have one week left here in beautiful SD. Hersh has finished camp, today he and Jacob are visiting Legoland, which was on Hersh's bucket list for the summer. Hersh has become an excellent bike rider this summer, and has even come around to enjoying the beach.
Ms. AlteLu has one week left until she turns one! It's hard to believe that our little lady lover is almost one--this year has gone by so quickly. We love her more and more each day and are so enjoying supporting her as she develops. She isn't walking quite yet, but definitely gets around. Jacob has been teaching her lots of -tricks--she pats her belly, gives lots of "nishikot," will find noses, raises her arms when asked "How big is AlteLu?" We are working on her clapping and "blowing out the candles" when we sing happy birthday, and she often holds up one finger when asked, "How old are you? You're 1!" AlteLu loves ducks, planes, birds, swings, corn on the cob ,and the beach. She loves the sand and the waves, and wants to head right into the water.
