2.5 & 5781

 We have now welcomed in the new year 5781, and our dear Mr. Sweetie Baby has turned 2.5!  The big kids are doing well--balancing zoom, mifgashim, and afterschool fun.  Sender used the word "because," Hersh is loving note taking, and AlteLu is a master of the piano and flip grid.  The weather feels truly like fall, and we are enjoying the end of pool season.  Jacob is back at work full time, Savta is with us for the next few weeks.  RBG died, we are scared about the coming presidential election, and living in DC is bizarre.  Grateful for this sweet family and our continued steady work.

A new school year/5781

 Wow! What a month.  We've now "started school" which is ok everall... lots of zoom with one Outdoor Day per kid.  Sender wishes he had preschool, but doesnt:(  He is happy with music class, and play cars with Joshie on the playground.  The kids are lucky to have each other and we are lucky to have them.  

We had to get a new roof, and the basement flooded but we are enjoying the porch.  Still swimming all the time....as is the covid life.  Who knows how long this will go on for.  Grateful for the outdoors and our little spot here in SS.

Rosh HaShannah is now approaching--here we go with 5781!

OBX & ALL is 7!

 We've just returned from Lewis Family Vacation OBX--covid style--and it was a gift.  Staying on Hatteras Island for the first time, and just going round and round through the days with the family.  Bike rides, The Dough Shack, beach, waves, ice cream, and lots of fruit!  We also celebrated Uncle Craig and Lu's bday, with tye die and ice cream sandwich.  Reuben loved vacation, Sender rocked it 3rd kid style, and Hersh, Lu, and Isaac enjoyed cousin time.

Im working hard to keep myself, work, and the kids going. The fact that another school year is about to begin, but isnt beginning, is daunting.  So much abundant gratitude, and so many feelings of overwhelm.  

Our sweet lady, AlteLu is about to turn 7, and we couldnt love her more.  She is a gracious, friendly, fierce lady, and it's an honor to be her Ima.
