14 & Pesach!

Whoosh...the rest of April flew by---a swirl of birthdays and Pesach.  HBB turned 14 and we are in awe of the amazing young man he has become---kind, smart, skeptical, strong, loving, and beautiful.  We celebrated him with a trip to the beach in SC, a much needed respot for our family of 5.  Lots of classic Mickey Mouse Club, swimming, beach, and relaxxxxx....what an honor to be the parents of our three beauties through all of it.  When we were driving home Sender let us know, "I feel elevated."  When asking for more details he shared that he felt elevated in all the ways---physically, mentally, emotionally--what a guy.  And Lu--"shoe, shoe, I'm a shoe!"

We also celebrated Pesach--hosting the first seder, attending the second--Aplebaums, Sharrins, Lewis, Kleins, Farnsworths---all the family love.  Sender performed well, had lots of good Kindergarten information to be shared, and the big kids, the best hosts.

Now we will see what lies ahead...finish the school year.. and feel the love and strength that is our family.

44!

Just turned 44--or half way to 88 as Lu has been reminding me:)  I had a lovely bay day into a Monday bday of pedicure, massage and then a lunar eclipse!  Lots of love from family and friends--with a card from Hersh that said he likes spending time with me:)   Lu got me lounge pants and Jacob a "large" moonstone that is most definitely tiny, to all our entertainment.  We are chugging towards Pesach with an upcoming adventure in Chicago for a Siegelbaum Bat Mitzvah.  It's springtime and the month is filled with birthdays, love and family!

6!

How can it be that our sweetest man is 6!  He is truly a delight--offering "dinosaur arm" hugs at bedtime, taking his own shower, loving to sing in the big bed, with a huge heart of compassion, silliness, and just true deliciousness.  Kate visited from Norway--an amazing treat as well.  We had a joyful day--he slept in and then we headed to the Einstein and Lincoln Memorials, the Cherry Blossoms, and then the "best hot pretzel of his life."
