The day after...

Here we are, the day after the 2020 Pres Election--no clear winner, but the sad realization that this country is filled with so many people who do not value and respect each other, the earth, and embrace humility.

We had a fun Halloween, the kids and I are in a groove, and Jacob is working hard at work--the fall is here, and in the day to day we are well.  We all need to take many deep breaths to stay clam in the world around us.  Sender's language, sense of humor, and 2 year oldness are amazing.  He loves a good party like a true 3rd kid, and kept telling me "I'm hungry" on Halloween, to convince me to give him more candy.

AlteLu is creative, smart, patient, kind, and definitely experiencing all that comes with 2nd grade.  Im really proud of her, and love the way she knows herself.

And Hersh--he started wearing deodorant, is trustworthy and responsible, doing great and school and with friends, and is tall.  He has a great sense of self awareness, and I just love him.

Half way through October!

Here we are, half way through October--the hagim are behind us, Jacob is back in the office full time, and I'm holding down the fort at home, with all the kids and work.  The big kids are really doing so well with "zoom school" and are thriving in the afternoons with friends--thank goodness for MD weather, and our porch!  Sender is the sweetest--smart, busy, funny, and really so easy going. But poor guy, he is bored---preschool would've been so good for him:( It's strange to be tired and bored, yet busy all the time.  Everyone loves toast and cider, soon we will pick pumpkins, and I am so grateful for the friendship my 3 kids have between them.  It's unclear what the coming weeks and months will bring. I can keep up with the home life, as long as we get a new president---dear Gd, please a new president.  Grateful for paychecks, health, family, morning walks, coffee, ice water, and chocolate chip cookies.
