Busy & Steady--6.5!

 Busy and steady is how I can best describe our life these days.  So, so busy with school, work, extracurricular activities--all the things!  But we are also steady---happy, healthy, and thriving.  We ventured to NY last weekend for the Ambalu bar mitzvah, visited Boro Park, Manhattan where we saw the Blue Man Group--and a lady on the street in the East Village at 11pm on Saturday night said, "wow!  you actually seem happy!"  We stayed with cousins and spent the afternoon in Belmar, honoring Sharnt's 2 year yahrzeit with a toast at the Princess Maria Diner.  Now a "normal" week as we prepare for RH.  Our Mr. Sweetie Baby is 6.5 years old today--and as Jacob said--halfway to bar mitzvah!

It's on!

 After today all of the things will have officially begun...swim, ballet, soccer, piano....we have 2 BTSN's this week, with the third next week.  We have bar mitzvahs, the end of the pool, birthday parties, and family get togethers.  We have new TV shows, lots of homework, dinner EVERY night, and the morning hustle.  Sender told me that a new kid in his class "just needs a few more chances" to behave, Lu is settling into her rhythm, and Hersh balancing a whole new world.  I am so grateful for any time we have as a family of 5.
